Andharban Jungle Trek

“Andharban”, the word itself means dense dark forest. Andharban is one of the most beautiful treks in Sahyadri. The best time to visit this place is during monsoon or post-monsoon. In this trek, you descend for almost 4 hours, and you are covered with dense forest and shade. En-route enjoy the waterfalls(during monsoon) and awesome view of Kundalika valley. Here, we will be descending from Pune (Ghatmatha) to Gatka. This trek is also famous among nature lovers, shutterbugs for various species of butterflies and flowers.

ITINERARY:-

• Reporting time 05.00 am
• Departure from Pune by 05.45 am.
• In route Halt for breakfast by 07.00 am.
• Leave towards the Start point of Andharban Trek at 7.30 a.m.
• Reach Start Point at 9.00 a.m.
• Introduction
• Start trek towards Andharban Forest at 9.15 am.
• Reach Lunch point by 1.00 p.m.
• Lunch by 1.00-1.30 pm
• Exploring Forest & Start towards the endpoint of the trek.
• Evening refreshments by 3.30 pm
• Leave towards Pune by 5.00 pm
• Return to Pune by 8.00 pm(+ – 1Hour)

1. Pay heed to the trek leader or instructor in order to enjoy a safe and sound trekking experience.

2. Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the trek.

Things To Carry:-

Identity Proof (Compulsory)

3 liters of Water (compulsory)
Preferably full sleeves clothes.
Trekking shoes with good grip (Strictly No – sandals, chappals, floaters during the trek)
Rain Jacket to keep you dry during the trek in rain season
