Beethoven String Quartet Op.59 No.3 "Razumovsky"

Mendelssohn Octet

We are thrilled about SOTA 2020, so much so that we can guarantee that this Festival is going to make you add a whole new set of favourites to your listening playlist.

This festival has three unique concerts consisting of three varying programs.

The first program happens on two days January 2nd and January 3rd with two unassumingly powerful compositions by Beethoven and Mendelssohn. The Mendelssohn Octet has surprised us by becoming a unanimous hit among the city’s audiences and is back on popular demand. In the octet, Felix Mendelssohn puts down melodies and rhythms that mix the rational world with fairy tale like story telling.

The Beethoven however , is a rare treasure. It’s impossible for us to conceive how so much of music and creative ideas can come out of four string instruments. This Beethoven string quartet has been rigorously rehearsed in NewYork particularly for performance in Hyderabad. This concert is bound to leave a special and memorable mark in every listener.
